What a lovely place! A bit hard to find at first because the outside of the establishment gets lost in an office-looking like building and the front entrance is dark and no one was there when we arrive making us think we entered the wrong place or it was closed.

Other than that, the entire dining experience from first to last bite was excellently delicious. A perfect first meal to kick off a UK trip :)

Upscale Indian restaurant in the heart of Westminster.  The food is spectacular, ambience is very nice, but service is a little lacking for such a nice restaurant.

Two for dinner - arrived early and had a drink in the main floor bar.  Nice setting in the library with walls covered in book shelves.  Service was prompt and the drinks well made.

Food - superb.  The Indian flair applied to some traditionally non-Indian dishes was magnificent.  The venison was perfectly cooked and rested on a splash of curry.  Similar perfection with the chick over lentils.   We had a bottle of Argentine Malbec that went well with both dishes.  The wine list is extensive.

Atmosphere - upscale.  The restaurant is in the old Westminster library.  Very interesting location and ambience.

Service - Ordering took a bit longer than it should have.  We also stared at empty plates for a bit too long for such an establishment.  We had rotating servers that made it hard to follow who to request service from.  They lost a star on the service.

Price - its pricey, but expected in such a nice restaraunt.  We spent £200 on dinner for two.

Note - they have a tasting menu that looked spectacular.  The table next to us was eating it.  The price is steep at £180 per person, but the level of detail in each dish, the wine parings and the significant wine pours looked worth it.

Visited the restaurant with my hubby to test out the late night menu. The food was really good and it wasn't crowded at all. I guess I was mostly surprised by how different their sauce taste and look like as opposed to what I am used to the kind of Indian food in US. I am used to the bright color and heavy sauced Indian food so to have similar taste but presented in a completely different way was very pleasant.

I also recommend the early or late dinner set menu. It's very reasonably priced and great for healthy eats, if there is a such thing as healthy eats in Indian cuisine :p

Food was incredible, atmosphere was unbelievable, service was 9/10. I wish we would have been in the main dining area, so I might just have to go back and request it!

Who has not gone to the Cinnamon Club or Kitchen in London? I suspect everyone has been.

I know this is not supposed to be Indian French but it felt that way to me. Modern Indian food with excellent bread and dessert selection. Great selection of appetizers followed by very generously portioned entree with more French than Indian in presentation.

    I loved my fish.

It's right by the hotel. I am heading back London in 6 days again. Time to go back there!
